How It All Began
My journey into the world of tree care began through weekend jobs with family whilst working a full-time 9-5. During these weekends I found my passion for the craft, so when I learnt the business I was working for was going to close down, I saw an opportunity. With the support of my friends and family, I decided to obtain some formal education and turn my skills and experience into a full-time endeavour.
Whilst laying the groundwork for Hi Palms, I pursued and obtained a Certificate III in Arboriculture and Horticulture. Additionally, I earned my truck license to ensure I was well-prepared for the demands of the job.
I vividly remember my first day trying to prune five palm trees with a pole saw, chainsaw and ute - by myself. It didn’t take long to realise that I would need help!
From there I am proud to say that Hi Palms has grown significantly and I now have a team of three employees as well as all the necessary equipment, including trailers, a chipper, a cherry picker and a stump grinder. All of which allows us to perform our work with a high level of efficiency and safety.
Through it all, my commitment to 100% customer satisfaction has remained unwavering. This dedication to quality and customer service is something I am determined to maintain as we continue to grow and serve our community.
